How dark can I legally go in California?+
Front side windows must let in at least 70% of light. Rear side windows and the back glass have no limit. We carry a compliant film for the front doors and can go as dark as you like behind them. If you choose darker up front, that is your call, and we will tell you the risk honestly.
Is ceramic tint really better than regular tint?+
Yes. Dyed film darkens the glass and that is about it. Ceramic film rejects infrared heat, blocks 99% of UV, never fades to purple, and has no metal layer, so your phone, GPS and radio signals are not affected.
How long does it take?+
Most cars are done the same day. Drop off in the morning and pick up in the afternoon.
When can I roll the windows down?+
Wait 3 to 5 days. The film needs that time to fully cure to the glass. A little haze or a few small water pockets in the first days are normal and disappear on their own.
My rear windows already look tinted. Do I still need film?+
Factory privacy glass is dyed glass, not film. It darkens the view but does little for heat or UV. Ceramic film over it adds the actual protection and matches the front windows to the rear.
Can you tint the windshield?+
Yes. We use a nearly clear ceramic film for the windshield that blocks UV and heat without affecting visibility. It is the single biggest upgrade for cabin temperature.
Can you remove old tint?+
Yes. Bubbled, purple or peeling film comes off and the glass is cleaned before the new film goes on. Tell us when you book so we can plan the time.
How much does it cost?+
Every car is quoted by window count and the shades you choose. Send the year, make and model and you will have an out-the-door number within 30 minutes during business hours.
